Washington made short work of their opponent this week, scoring 27 unanswered to open the game and coasting to the finish from there. The final game of the Huskies’ weak non-conference schedule is in the books, and Washington fans can finally look forward to some interesting, hard-fought contests.
Dante Pettis Takes Over
The Huskies wide receiver had an extraordinary game, picking up 3 touchdowns to go along with 92 receiving yards and tacking on a magnificent 77 yard punt return touchdown as well. There was just no stopping the speedy, 6’1″ wideout and he put on a show for Washington fans.
Browning Nearly Perfect
Jake Browning would like to remind you all that there’s another Heisman-caliber quarterback in the PAC 12. The Huskies’ quarterback went 19/22 for 255 yards and four touchdowns, a pretty much perfect showing good for a 96.4 QBR. Browning found 10 different receivers en route to the Huskies’ dominating victory.
Washington travels to Boulder next to take on the Buffs in an intriguing measuring stick game. The Huskies will be favored and should win, but there’s an opportunity to answer a lot of questions left uninformed by the gentle out-of-conference slates of the two opponents.
